In 2000, the program Every Child Matters was created to ensure that all eligible uninsured children and parents in Stamford are enrolled in a health insurance program. Through education and advocacy, Every Child Matters provides Stamford residents with tools and support to be self-sufficient, empower their families, and advocate for themselves. This program provides in-person assistance with application for enrollments in healthcare programs following each case until enrollment is granted and provides in-person assistance with annual renewal applications. We also provide confidential referrals to available local health and social services programs.
