Residents with a "Dump Permit" are allowed to dump 200lbs free per day. To obtain a permit bring your Stamford registered passenger vehicle registration to the Scale House. If your vehicle is not registered in Stamford, a utility bill at your Stamford address is required along with the vehicle registration.

All vehicles with over 200lbs are required to go to the Scale House.
The residential dumping area closes at 2:00pm Monday through Saturday. You must be in line no less than 30 minutes prior to Scale House closing.
Residents with over 200lbs of material per day in a passenger vehicle, free. If it looks like you have over 200lbs, your vehicle will be weighed and you will be charged $6.15 per 100 pounds of additional weight.
$10 per Tire; $12 per Freon disposal item (refrigerator, a/c, dehumidifier, etc)
The following materials are not accepted for disposal: asbestos shingles, chemicals, hazardous waste, liquids, latex and oil-based paint, sheetrock. Find out where to dispose of these items.
