Stamford Citywide Parking Study

A joint project between the Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department and the Land Use Bureau, the Stamford Citywide Parking Study provides recommendations and strategies that can alleviate ongoing and emerging parking concerns. In order to achieve effective parking management strategies, this Study explores the multi-faceted relationship between existing parking supplies and demand on both a Citywide and targeted neighborhood basis.

This Study was adopted by the Stamford Planning Board on January 23, 2024.

Stamford Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan

The City of Stamford Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department conducted a Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan as part of our department's efforts to bring complete streets to Stamford.

The goal of this plan is to provide a road map for the city to develop thoughtful bike & pedestrian infrastructure in Stamford. Our department will use this study in its planning and construction of new bike lanes, sidewalks, and many other projects.
