Emergency Shelters

In the event of a major power outage emergency or flooding, a shelter will be open to the public at Stamford High School, 55 Strawberry Hill Avenue. Residents may bring personal belongings, pets, pet food, leashes.

Please call 911 to report a life threatening injury, blocked roadways, if you smell a gas leak or to report downed power lines. Please never approach a downed electrical wire.
