Thank you for volunteering to help spread the word about Food Scrap Recycling in Stamford and how residents can use this program to reduce the amount of garbage they generate at home.

Our goal is to get you comfortable with all the information you’ll likely need in order to answer residents’ questions. On this page, you will find helpful materials and videos for this purpose.

As a volunteer, you should be prepared to talk to residents about all aspects of our Food Scrap Program. Your job is to educate about our program and encourage any efforts residents say they will make.
