Your City at Work: From the Mayor’s Desk

Read below to learn more about initiatives my administration is working on, resources for Stamford residents, information about upcoming events, and important city and state information.

MAYOR’S UPDATES

  • Commitment to Inclusiveness and Respect: In response to recent incidents of antisemitic vandalism and rhetoric in Stamford, I convened a crucial meeting with city officials, public safety officers, and community and religious leaders. Together, we engaged in a meaningful dialogue to address these troubling events and reaffirm our collective commitment to a safe and inclusive community.

  • Cummings Park Pavilion Phase 1: It was wonderful to join city officials last Friday afternoon to celebrate the completion of phase 1 of the Cummings Park Pavilion. We are prioritizing investments in our city parks, beaches and marinas. This project includes enhancements to the east promenade, pavilion interior and plaza, and includes new greenery, benches, and three parking spaces for food trucks.
