OPERATIONS PROCESS SPECIALIST

DUTIES: Under general supervision, the Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of the Operations Department. This role provides support to operational leadership across multiple service areas by optimizing processes, ensuring budget compliance, and improving daily operations. Must be proactive, capable of problem-solving, effective in communicating across the organization, and adept at managing time for a variety of tasks. With a strong focus on the big picture, the Operations Specialist also pays attention to detail, assists in developing quality assurance programs, and leads process improvements across all operational initiatives. The role involves managing sensitive and confidential information, conducting research, and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Operations Management, Business Administration, or any STEM discipline and at least two years of responsible experience in an operations support/management role.  

SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will not be a written examination.  Qualified applicants will be ranked according to their education, training and experience.  Applicants are required to fully complete the application form and supplement, listing all related degrees, training and work experience.
